This holiday season, we invite you to join Safe Exit Initiative in making a difference for the individuals we support through our Drop-In Center, street outreach efforts, and Transition Aged Youth Mentoring and Exiting Programs. With your generosity, we’ll be giving items like scarves, hats, gloves, and hygiene kits—practical, meaningful gifts that will bring warmth and comfort to those we support.
Your contribution will help us provide thoughtful gifts to 75-80 participants this holiday season.
Eighty-seven percent of people involved in the sex trade want to exit, but face significant barriers including a lack of sufficient trauma-informed support services that specifically address the complicated and unique needs of victims of commercial sex exploitation (CSE).
Victims of CSE are disproportionately BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ and contend with overlapping vulnerabilities, including poverty, housing instability, food insecurity, mental health disorders (MHD), substance use disorders (SUD), adverse childhood experiences, trauma, and systems involvement.
Safe Exit Initiative (SEI) is a survivor-led organization that supports individuals impacted by the sex trade through comprehensive programs and services tailored to meet immediate and long-term needs.
In 2023, we served over 550 individuals through our many programs, initiatives, and street outreach efforts in Worcester, MA.
